THIMBY Tiny House Display at Homecoming

The Tiny House in My Backyard (THIMBY) project will be displaying their nearly completed “tiny house” from 9AM – Noon on Friday, September 30 at Kroeber Plaza on the UC Berkeley campus. THIMBY is an interdisciplinary team of UC Berkeley graduate and undergraduate students (lead by several ERGies) working together to design and build an affordable, off-grid, 100% solar-powered “tiny house.”
The 2016 SMUD Tiny House Competition is less than 2 weeks away! In order to complete their project in time they need to raise $3,000 by October 10th, the day they are leaving Richmond and taking THIMBY to Sacramento for the competition.
