Kelly Archer

Kelly is a Master’s student at ERG (class of 2024). She has a background in environmental engineering, specifically in water/wastewater treatment and remediation. At ERG, she is excited to branch out of engineering to study the social and political dimensions of water and waste infrastructure, particularly in urban and suburban contexts. How does infrastructure and its associated social and power structures shape our relations to “resources” and our community? How do we localize power and control over the means to meet our basic needs? Kelly can be found in various campus departments digging into questions like these.
