Alexandra (she/her) is a first-year Master of Science candidate in the Energy and Resources Group at the University of California, Berkeley. She is particularly interested in furthering procedural environmental justice policy and climate solution adoption alongside and for the benefit of communities on the frontlines of long-standing historic and intentional injustices. At ERG, she is conducting research at the intersection of the blue economy and EEEJ (economic, environmental, and energy justice) in the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory (RAEL) and the Justice Equity Diversity, Inclusion and Liberation Lab [JEDI (L)ab].
Alexandra Grayson earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Howard University in May of 2022. A Baltimore native, Alexandra can be found advocating for a just and sustainable future in her roles as a Chesapeake Bay Foundation Trustee, Baltimore Sustainability Commissioner, and Power Shift Network Board Member. She also serves on the American Meteorological Society’s Ad Hoc Committee on Wildfire Weather, Technology and Risk. Alexandra is a 2022 GEM Fellow.
