Julia’s research focuses on the performance and usability of climate model outputs at decision-relevant scales. She received her S.B. in Environmental Engineering from MIT in 2016 where she studied the fluid dynamics of disease transmission, and she received her M.S. in Energy and Resources from UC Berkeley in 2021. Prior to coming to ERG, she worked as a research analyst in Dr. Solomon Hsiang’s Global Policy Lab at the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy as part of the group’s quantitative sustainable development project.
